San Francisco comes alive in the fall! While most of the country is getting ready for cooler temps, the City is just starting to heat up. As the crowds of tourists are thinning, it’s a great time to get out and enjoy the many fun things there are to do and see in our City by the Bay!

San Francisco’s only outdoor mini-golf course opened in mid-August, and its holes are inspired by the Bay Area’s most famous places and events. You’ll recognize AT&T Park, Chinatown, and the tech boom as you make your way through the course, and when the round ends head over to the food trucks — Hookt Doughnuts, Jeepney Guy, and newcomer Al Pastor Papi plus two rotating vendors — and beer garden that are part of the venue.
Saturday, Sept. 15 | 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
Start at Bayview Opera House 4702 3rd St.
The 5th Annual KMJ SC Warrior Walk serves as a fundraiser for the Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness Foundation and honors Kareem M. Jones, a victim of the disease. Get out there with friends or family for CPR demonstrations, a vintage fire truck for the kids to explore and vintage cars for the older kids. Those who donate $20 or more will receive a KMJ Warrior T-shirt, awareness band, a raffle ticket and more. Online registration is preferred, however you can register at the walk. If you’d like, get an early start Friday, Sept. 14, at “Wine & Sign.” Just come down to Trademark & Copyright Bar & Lounge –1123 Folsom in San Francisco — from 2-7p.m., have a glass of wine and make a sign. You’ll be in good company!

Urban Air Market is the largest outdoor design festival in the country, and hosts only independent fashion designers focused on sustainable design. Come enjoy the last market day of the year in Hayes Valley, where there will be 150 emerging designers, live music and activities. It’s time to shop until you drop!
