Time for tea? It was on a recent Saturday afternoon, when The Storehouse hosted neighbors at its Springtime Tea Tasting, giving patrons a chance to sample a couple of choice brews from a premier tea vendor.
The Storehouse is now offering customers Two Leaves and a Bud teas, an independent brand named for the top two leaves and bud of the tea plant. Two Leaves and a Bud is based in the small mountain town of Basalt, Colorado, and is known internationally for its high quality organic and fairly traded tea grown in Sri Lanka, India and China. For the tea lover, sipping a Two Leaves and a Bud tea is a richly satisfying experience.
The Storehouse wanted to show its pride and excitement in making the teas available at The SF Shipyard by hosting the April tea tasting. Participants got to savor two highly celebrated selections, Assam Breakfast Black Tea and Jasmine Petal Green Tea. Even better, accompanying the teas was a scrumptious assortment of scones and cupcakes provided by local bakery Berner Rosen Baking.
While the grownups sipped and chatted, kids were treated to juice and Easter cupcakes. They also had fun decorating bags to use for an Easter egg hunt held right at The Storehouse.
It’s all part of The Storehouse’s philosophy to be much more than a quick stop for the basics. Offerings like Two Leaves and a Bud tea give customers something to chat about, a way to slow down, and appreciate one of life’s subtle pleasures.
All in all, it was a fun and fulfilling way to spend a Saturday afternoon indulging the taste buds and giving kids a chance to revel in some Easter excitement. Thanks to The Storehouse for hosting such a wonderful event!
