This weekend we have another community event for all the art-lovers. The SF Open Studios, the oldest and largest open studios program in the country, kicks off this weekend. The annual, month-long art event begins at Hunters Point Shipyard and Islais Creek Studios on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fall open studios will feature over 180 local artists with a score of artistic pieces, plus the Annual Art Auction that will run throughout the weekend.
Guests will also have a chance to support food and drink vendors while enjoying the exhibit.
The Fall Open Studios 2017 is part of the larger SF Open Studios program that starts in October and extends over five weeks through five San Francisco neighborhoods. Guests can preview over 800 emerging and established San Francisco artists in their studios. Visitors will have the opportunity to find printmaking shops, glass blowing studios and a diverse roster of exhibits imaginable.
This is your chance to explore, experience and collect pieces from local emerging and established artists.
