Have you heard? We’ve enlisted Curiosity Atlas to host an event series that will bring our residents together to celebrate life at The SF Shipyard. Events offer residents an opportunity to explore new places, try new things and meet new people through workshops and studio visits with the makers and artisans of Hunter’s Point, Bayview and Dogpatch.
We kicked off the series with master chocolatier Michael Recchiuti in April. Our first event, Paint By Chocolate, invited The SF Shipyard residents to splatter, draw and paint their way to the world’s most delicious art. All-hands-on-deck, the night consisted of residents embodying their inner Pollock to craft a handful of abstract awesomeness in chocolate form.
The success of the first event has us looking forward to more. Have you heard what’s brewing next?
Kick off your Memorial Day weekend early at Seven Stills of San Francisco Brewery and Distillery. This event will take residents on a spirited journey from beer to whiskey with Seven Stills founder and owner Tim Obert. Residents will have the opportunity to taste their way through the special beer-distilling process. The journey begins with a sample of beer destined for whiskey greatness and concludes with tasting some of Seven Stills’ barrel samples.
Please RSVP by May 19 to secure your spot. This is a 21 + event and extended only to The SF Shipyard residents.
This is our thank you for helping make The SF Shipyard a unique and diverse neighborhood with vibrant people to connect with, things to experience and places to explore. Keep an eye out for more resident appreciation events soon!
