Last Friday, we let Bayview Underground Food Scene loose on The SF Shipyard social media pages. They introduced us to some of their favorite spots in the Bayview, which won’t disappoint!
In case you missed it, the day started at Vasquez Coffee Company, an all-women owned and operated coffee roaster in the neighborhood. Later for lunch, they traveled to Let’s Eat BBQ and enjoyed a tasty pulled pork sandwich on a bun with spicy sauce. YUM! Other stops throughout the day included a relaxing trip to Heron’s Head Park, shopping at the San Francisco Wholesale and Produce Market for cherries and a sweet treat from Yvonne’s Southern Sweets. Can you say lemon pie? Finally, they closed out a busy week at Gratta Wines with a glass of crisp rose.
Don’t miss Bayview Underground Food Scene’s next PopUp Market for more delicious bites, performances and art activities for the whole family! The event (Spring and St. Patrick’s Day themed!) will feature some of our favorite local purveyors serving up yummy eats and libations including Auntie April’s, Gratta Wines, Estrellita Snacks, Peaches Patties and more.
Attending any Bayview PopUp event is your chance to socialize and share common interests, all while supporting the growth of local businesses within the Bayview district. You won’t want to miss it!
